Wednesday - 9/21 - INTRO - music by keith. 9p-midnight. Helios, 413
Glenwood Ave, Midtown Raleigh
Thursday - 9/22 - Jazz Anew - Over the past three years, Thursday has always
been Jazz Anew night during which we've been entertained with future funk and
various grooves hosted by Dj.exe and visualist Esotic. The guys have decided
to let the regular Thursday show go mainly due to "the irrelevance of such an
event these days", per Dj.exe. Dancing is not over yet though. There are
two more nights of fresh sounds and a dancefloor to enjoy them on. 10p-2a.
Aries, 400 W. Morgan St, Downtown Raleigh
Sunday - 9/25 - NeuRomance - Sunday essentials with Drew Diggle, Castro,
Madcow, guests and all beloved patrons of the groove. 424 McDowell St,

Your voltage is taking a dive when you start the car, hence all of the
resets and stereo lockup. You need to find what's loading down the
system. It would be good to put a voltmeter on the battery terminals,
and have someone read the meter while you start the car. Make sure the
inside of the battery terminals are clean and shiny.
You mentioned that the battery was replaced, so if the voltage is ok at
the terminals I'd probably have the voltage regulator checked, maybe the
alternator as well depending on mileage. Advance Auto may be able to do
that for you.
Or it's possibly something simple like a faulty ground connection on the
chassis from the battery. You didn't say whether or not you had
starting problems at any time, though.
If no friend can do it, you'll probably have to go to a car stereo
installation place to get the cd's extracted, depending on how the player
is mounted, etc. IMO, Circuit City and Best Buy are proabably last
resorts for that sort of thing.
luck,
