Done and done. And banned from resubscribing for his own protection, on the off chance that he tries to sleep-subscribe himself without his own consent. If he reconsiders and wants back on the list, somebody tell him to send me a postcard or something.

Please remove me from your list. You are clearly, deeply delusional on the subject of hurricanes and global warming.

bus systems are available and is way underused.
Go here for the TTA: http://ridetta.org/
Its a good time as any to try it out

I've had a pretty good experience on TTA. I ride my
bike to the UNC student center from Carrboro, put my
bike on the bus take it down 54 to the park and ride
my bike up to work. I've also gotten a around to
between Durham & CH & RTP pretty easily..

TTA also offers Vanpools too..

Also there is a free bus between the UNC planetaruim
and the Duke Chapel. They have a bike rack too. All
you need is a Duke or UNC ID, but I've never seen
anyone check. http://www.robertsonscholars.org/bus/

Don't forget the free buses in Chapel Hill
http://www.townofchapelhill.org/index.asp?NID=397

Hell you can even get between Hillsboro and CH by bus
http://www.co.orange.nc.us/aging/opt/#routes

You can go here and get all the public transportation
options for NC
http://www.apta.com/links/state_local/nc.cfm#A73

One more link for the smart commuter challenge going
on now: http://www.smartcommute.org/2005Challenge.htm

I also had this notion of starting a WIKI for people
who want to carpool to rock shows in the triangle.
Has anyone already done this? Would anyone really be
interested? I know there are folks out there more web
savy than I.. so it would probably be ugly in
comparison..

don't wait for a train.
