nothing gets the rivers flowing like "renaissance eyes" by don dixon. oh
man...

then hootie and the blowfish got their hands on it. which wasn't bad. darius'
vocals just rip me apart. but there's something bitter yet endearing about
the way don just whispers those vocals "are you alone, renaissance eyes/ i
had my whole family stolen from me, renaissance eyes"...

damn. now i have to go lsiten to it.

FYI, that's a cover of a Don Gibson hit from 1958 (Don was from Shelby, NC).

"Holocaust" is pretty damn sad, but my vote goes to Eric Boggle's "And
