Oh this is awful. One of my few heros who's held up. There he was in 1980, my Dad's age, breaking the 'effin Birthday Party. There I was in London, listening on a weeknight in 1989, when he played this freaky surfobilly song that blew me away, from that first Southern Culture on the Skids album. Thus began my trek to right here. Then, listening to him over the internet a few years ago, and realizing how important it is, if you deejay music that no one has ever heard before, to let the listeners know what you are playing. After no more than three songs.
The greatest all time, I'd say. Discovered T-fucking-Rex, and didn't miss a thing from there on out.
