Dear Chan Yau,
Yes, the participants number looks right to me. Although I won't be able to get a more precise headcount here at CUHK at this point, I can do that when it gets closer. I'll also see what I can contribute to the program.
Thanks and regards,
Jack

Dear All,
I have added Grace Wu to this list. I'm asking Grace to kindly coordinate
the logistics.
Date: now fixed at 24 November. It'll be sad to miss Rebecca's students.
Would afternoon suits your students? And other people?
Venue: we will book a place at HKU.
Thank you Ben for suggesting the programme. Yes why not put on the web if
Ben can help.
Can you guys sign up to Ben's suggested topics or add more.
Let's finalise the programme by 7 Oct and make announcements thereafter.
We are epecting 30 or so participants. Is that reasonable?
Chan Yau

Thanks Ben, Jack, Rebecca and Chan Yau... I am ok on those dates --
although I don't think I qualify to "educate" in the workshop but I will try
to make it and be "educated"!

Hi all,
I'm fine with both day. Maybe I can help students with technical problems
during the workshop.
So for suggesting content for the practical workshop, should we open a page
on cchk.wetpaint.com for collaboration?
Some possible content?
1. Brief Introduction to CC - what it is, situation in HK... etc 2.
Introduction to some tools 2a. Search CC Content with Google, Yahoo...
2b. Photo - Flickr, Daayu, Yotophoto, ...
2c. Music / Video - Jamendo, some local communities...
2d. Course Material - MIT Open Course Ware, OCA...
2d. ????
3. Demonstration of some creativity by students 3a. ????
Any thought?
