Actually, yes, I do know about them.
Both Delia Browne (who people will know through her OER work) and Gwen Hinze of EFF have spoken to me about it, and are keen for CC to be more involved. They seem to be a good group, made up mainly of people we know and agree with.
From HQ's point of view, it would be great for us to know more about them, how they work etc. So if you do end up doing an event with them, we'd love to hear back.

My understanding is that they're a copyright reform movement whose
main goal is to expand and harmonise (across jurisdiction) exceptions
to exclusive copyright. Those exceptions are known under various names
in various jurisdictions (e.g. "fair use" in the US, "fair dealing" in
the Commonwealth, "borrowing rules" in Norway), and they also are
not the same in every jurisdiction.
