The idea that distros are like publications of gathered content is the
reverse of an idea I've been pushing to friends in Open Content for a while
now. Editorial style and content is the added value that makes it worth
paying for (f|F)ree content.

This stance is interesting because it isn't focussing on getting a "more
commercial" license or on containing projects within a corporation, but it is
very much focussed on providing a compelling value proposition to consumers
and making a profit.
