Just as one example, how does links handle eBay? Can you view
the stuff on offer? Can you place bids with it?
I haven't tried, but I would guess that Links2ssl would be likely to
handle that OK.
I use ebay with lynx, which I have set up to use zgv as a viewer of images (or you can run it in X and use xli). Lynx does well with ssl. But it does not work with paypal.
Nongraphical links can also be set to view images with xli (non-embedded).
And certainly Phoenix, Opera and probably Netscape would manage also.
