It is already linked and it all works properly for me.

I have a /root/.links/links.cfg with the lines :

association "xli" "image, image/gif, image/jpeg, image/jpg" "xli %" 11 1
extension "gif,jpeg,jpg,jpe,bmp,BMP,pcx,PCX,xbm,xpm,xwd" "image"

Thank you for putting me back on the right track. Now I found a manpage for
xli. (haven't even traid) it support gif I something was wrong in my gif.
Links2 I need to look at it again.

If you see odd colors while using xli, try it with xli -fit.

But Sindi if you are still with me. The backspace in X. I downloaded your
xmodmap86 and looked through it and it said only for us keyboard and that is
not me. Is there a way to fix it on a Danice keyboard? Everything else is
fine just not the backspace.

I looked at my xmodmap.84 and it is for my 84-key keyboard, so edit your danish xmodmap file (whatever you are using) and make sure you keep
77=Num_lock
78=Multi_key

To fix the backspace and delete problem (I hope):
22=BackSpace
91=Delete

I don't know where to find a Danish keyboard for X, but kbd.tgz contains one for the console, which someone else can tell you how to use. I don't have any backspace problem in console mode.

Edit 22 and 91 in whatever file you are using to produce Danish keyboard in X, to fix the backspace and delete problem.

I don't know why there is a problem in the first place.

Sindi
