BL3 to BL3 via ethernet in the same room.

On computer 192.168.1.2 I made a www directory, cd'ed there,
created index.htm, typed httpd, then from the other BL3 computer
typed lynx 192.168.1.2. Should it be lynx
http://192.168.1.2/www/index.htm?
Or is the default /public_html ?

No path needed but index.htm is needed.

I have it working now. Establish connection (ethernet etc.)
On server, 192.168.1.2, go to directory to be made accessible.
httpd

On client go into a browser such as links:
g
192.168.1.2/index.htm or the name of any other file there.

I should not name the whole path, just the computer's IP and the file name.

I was trying to do this without the index.htm and this httpd does not seem able to automatically supply index.htm as I expected it to.
