I'm once again trying to compile drivers in BL2. I downloaded gmake.tgz from slackware, and installed it. FYI, the drivers I am compiling are the orinoco drivers. When I run make Makefile, it gives me the error that "Kernel Source code not configured. Stop." I'm assuming that this indicates that I require the kernel source code. These are wireless cards, so I do need to know:
-what kernel I should use
-where I should get the source
-how I would go about doing all this (I would assume that I would have to compile the kernel after, which I am dreading, but am forced to do if I want wireless)
So if anybody can help, that would be extra-fabulous.
Here's what you're most likely looking for:
ftp://ftp.slackware.com/pub/slackware/slackware-7.1/slakware/d1/linuxinc.tgz
Those are linux kernel includes you need for compiling alot of that sort of stuff.
Thanks,
Stephen Clement
