When I start my computer, it starts "init" or whatever, then checks the disk. It says 0.5% contiguous. I looked it up, and I'm assuming that this just means that the drive is 0.5% full. However, before installing linux, I had many bad sectors. I'm wondering if perhaps it means something else that I should be aware of. Thanks!
It means you're not using Windows, which would be very much more fragmented!
