That's right. The DOS version runs from a loop; the
floppy version runs from ramdisks. Both install to HD
(ext2 partition).

To get a ramdisk version, you would need to extract the
initrd from the floppy (not easy). Or, alternatively,
you could gzip fs.img (from DOS version) and use that
as the initrd (however, you would then need a special
kernel capable of running a 20mb ramdisk).
