I recall it working with both links and lynx. Though it seemed like a
really great idea in principle, in practice I found it unsuitable. The
html pages man2html finally rendered out of the manpage had some minor
misalignments of text: with manpages, it is crucial that text lines up
perfectly (e.g., an optional argument with the description of what that
argument does). I kind of gave up on it for this reason.

PS Steven really wrote the script: I just made some halting attempts, and
he jumped in and offered corrections.
