I have mini-mc installed (from JP).
F9 highlights Left. Down arrow gives a menu without ftp link.
F2 gives a menu with r - copy file to remote host. How do I connect to
'remote host'? Could this be done over a plip connection?
Probably mini-mc is not going to do ftp transfers.
Looking at mc from SW3.2 in Bl1. F9 highlights Left, and Enter
key gives a menu with Network link and Ftp link. This will work
as should the mc from SW71.
What package do I need to install to get an ftp server, and does it matter
which of the two computers I install it to, for ftp server? (For laplink
- llpro - both computers are treated the same way). Is the one I want to
access the one that is sending files or the one that is receiving, or
does it matter so long as I use mc on the other one? Are they hooked up
by parallel or serial cable?

user name root, password (nothing) root:@192.168.0.2 ?
When doing plip the number I use is 192.168.1.2 - are they supposed to be
the same? Where do these numbers come from anyway, are they in some file?

It should if I can get it working, thanks.
Should mc work over a plip connection instead of 'network' or 'ftp'?
