Are all four IDE connectors being used? If not, you
could add an old HD. Even 85mb would be very useful.

Does your computer have a CDrom drive? There are some
neat distributions on CDrom that run in a ramdrive.

If you just want the usual BL2 ramdrive filesystem
sitting on a larger ramdrive, that could be done
(although it would need a new kernel). However, it
sounds like you want the HD-installation filesystem
(instead of the ramdrive filesystem) sitting on that
ramdrive.

Perhaps the best solution for you is to create a large
ramdrive from inside BL2 and point the HD-installation
routine at that ramdrive. You could then change the
root filesystem to that ramdrive (without rebooting)
and run that version of BL2. Once you did this manually
a few times (and got the bugs out) you could write a
script for it and insert it into baslinux.gz. You
could even automate the whole thing so that booting BL2
automatically creates the big ramdisk, installs the HD
installation packages (from CDrom or /slakware directory
on your HD) and changes to the new filesystem.

Cheers,
Steven
