It was simply a matter of space. The ftp client takes
around 60kb. Originally it was in, but I was getting
really tight for space, so I pulled it. The tftp client
is tiny so I included it in case it was useful to anyone.

Good question. AFAIK, tftp tends to be used for connections
on local networks.
If you want to add the ftp client, it's just a single file
(inside /slakware/a6/tcpip1.tgz).
It might also be fun trying to access a ftp server using
telnet and/or nc.
