Does the VGA16 Xserver work?

I am unfamiliar with the i810; however, I have been able to
find the following information:
--------------------------------------------------------------
This card is only supported with a special X server XFCom_i810
and a complementary module for the kernel agpgart.
--------------------------------------------------------------
It requires the _agpgart_ kernel support, which is included in
Linux kernels 2.3.42 and higher.
--------------------------------------------------------------
A detailed documentation on the installation is provided at
http://www.linux-france.org/article/x/GuideIntel810/book1.html
--------------------------------------------------------------
Since BasicLinux uses kernel 2.2.16, it appears that there
is no high-resolution Xserver that works for the i810.
Hopefully the VGA16 Xserver works on the i810.
Cheers,
Steven
