Olivier,

נדה has the meaning of something that is expelled. This might be something expelled from the body (eg. menstruation) or something should be expelled from a community due to impurity. Therefore, in certain contexts, yes נדה has the sense of impurity. However, it is not completely synonymous with חטאת, which means a sin or error.
