1. I am not interested in Arabic.
2."Gemination" doe's not exist in present-day Hebrew because it is annoying and unnecessary. There is no evidence that it ever existed in Hebrew.
3. Stress is, indeed, used now in Hebrew for distinction as in rAcu, 'they ran', versus racU, 'they wanted', or sAar, 'storm', versus saAr, 'he was agitated.

Arabic speakers don't know what you're talking about.
They have lengthened vowels and lengthened consonants,
aka 'gemination'. But once meaningful length drops,
then it is gone, like Greek and Hebrew.
