The letter L signifies, methinks, loftiness. The -JA- is possibly a "smudged" ZA, CA or $A. Indeed, we have in Hebrew the tree names E$EL (Gen. 21:33), and CEELAH (Job 40:21), both ACIYLIYM trees.
