1. Language, which was invented and perfected by "primitive" man, should be very very simple.
2. A hebrew name is not a word, and we must be careful in analyzing it, yet I am convinced that EL in EL-KAN-AH is, indeed, our EL. In Gen. 14:19 we have: EL ELYON KON-EH $AMAYIM VA-AREC. Is this EL 'the buyer'?
