ויהי יונה במעי הדג שלשה ימים ושלשה לילות

jonah 1:17 excerpt

הארצ ברחיה בעדי לעולם

jonah 2:6 excerpt

The popular and modern english translation of this three day period of time,
and more specifically, the transliterated hebrew word "olam," includes
words such as "everlasting," "eternal," "for ever," etc.

But have the english translators failed to capture the intended and actual
meaning of this 7th century b.c., hebrew word as a concealed or hidden
period or length of time?
