Thanks, Very helpful I don't read German but I have friends who do so I
should be able to extract what I need. My expertise is well below the
dissertation level but I would be interested in corresponding briefly with
the student to know his approach/theory.

Beyond all, first take of course Ernst Jenni's three indispensable
volumes on the prepositions Bet, Kaf, and Lamed:

Ernst Jenni, Die Hebräischen Präpositionen.
vol 1: Die Präposition Bet, 1992 (ISBN13: 978-3-17-011771-6)
vol 2: Die Präposition Kaf, 1994 (SBN13: 978-3-17-012688-6)
vol 3: Die Präposition Lamed, 2000 (ISBN13: 978-3-17-016425-3)

About the third volume, you can learn something more from my review in
Theologische Literaturzeitung 128 (2003) 278-281.

There are more subsequent publications about Hebrew prepositions, and
here at Mainz University someone is currently doing his doctoral
dissertation on that topic.
