Hi! My sense is consistent with Randal's, except that I have a strong
impression that in Biblical Hebrew prose one conveys a present event not so
much through verb forms as through adverbs like (th "now" etc. I am not
saying that verb forms are insignificant; I am saying that they are not the
only way to convey time sequencing or positioning.
