I wonder if anyone could tell me if Hos 1:10 is meant to be , "sons of the
living God" , or "children of the living God" , can we be as precise as that .

Doug:
The practice in Biblical Hebrew was that where both men and women, sons and
daughters, were present, only the men or sons were mentioned. There was not
a separate word for children. So in Hosea 1:10 "children" cannot be ruled
out.
