Dear Shoshanna,
According to Rashi, there are 70 weeks of years from the first
destruction until the second destruction. But that is 490 years.
The Temple was destroyed in the early 6th century BCE, so
there is no way you are going to add 490 years to that and get
70 CE, which is when the Second Temple is known to have been
destroyed.
