OK the LXX was translated by Charles Thompson in 1808, which would have been available to Smith. Can anyone confirm for me whether Gen 34:16 begins with "and" as it does in Brenton's version?

I'm currently in Brazil and am officially resourceless.

We're getting cloiser, but Brenton's LXX was published in 1851 in English
right?

The Book of Mormon was published in 1830. Was there another English
publication of the LXX prior to Brenton's?
