Dear James,
>Yeah, sorry. I was referring to the explicit numbers of
>weeks as opposed to days. But the point is still the same.
It's not the same point at all. The word "week" is based on the
number "seven." The Hebrew word is a form of the number "seven."
It's not surprising that it can designate a seven of days or years.
But YWM is not a numerical word. It is not based on the number one.
It means day.
Yours,
Harold Holmyard

Dear James,
>Yes! Very astutely observed. But seven what....?
HH: In Daniel 9 I believe that it is seven years. You should be able
to see this from the parallels between Dan 9:27 and Daniel 11:7, 11
and several clarifying passages in Revelation.
Yours,
Harold Holmyard
