At the link above is some information from Gerard Gertoux's book
which indicates that he knew that both the Leningrad Codex and the Aleppo
codex
had pointed YHWH with the vowels e,o,a
in some cases.

Gerard Gertoux has stated that he wrote his book
with the intention of proving that "Yehowah" is more likely to be God's
name
than "Yahweh" is.

Out of curiosity, I came across this one day.
Anyone ever heard of this guy, Gertoux?
"The word Yahowah has never been used in any Bibles.
The (fanciful) grammatical pattern which involves a change a to e has
never existed.
In actual fact, before 1100 CE , the Tetragram has been pointed with only
the two vowels e, a
of the Aramaic word Shema which means "The Name".
The vowel o appeared, after 1100 CE , owing to the influence of the
reading of the word Adonay."

You do not remember correctly. Let me repost here a passage from
Gertoux's book posted here by Alexander Oldernes on 18th July this year:

Whatever we might think of the characterisation as "errors", this makes
it very clear that the regular pointing in the Aleppo codex is
sheva-qamats, but that sheva-holam-qamats is found occasionally e.g. at
Ezekiel 3:13.
