Wrong. Re-read "Seder Ha'avodah" (in the Yom Kippur Musaf): "When the
priests and the people in the courtyard would hear the high priest say
"Hashem" in holiness and purity, they would bow down and say "Blessed be the
name of His glorious majesty for ever and ever".

And see any commentary on Mishnah Yoma 3:8.
