Seems like a confusing way to word it, but if I understand your suggestion correctly, yes. It is a ms participle in the absolute state, since the recipient of the action is introduced with ot-.


"He shall burn..." should theoretically read: "the burner" or "the one who
will burn..." "the one who is burning..."

Yes, it refers to the one who does the burning.
