dear friends,
the NIV indents some verses as poetry, but not others. e.g., genesis 1:27,
but not surrounding verses. why? what theory of poetry vs prose permits
this??
again, what makes the curses in genesis 3 poetry, but the rest not? it's
not 4/4/4 like genesis 1:27?
also, is there not a separate study of "genesis poetry" around? if not,
why not? if so, is it recent...?
just thinking....

Look for massive consolidation and brutal job cuts ahead.
It won't be pretty.
