Ok, I know this has probably been done before, but I am about to start
teaching a new Hebrew class, and I have yet to get matching answers on the
correct pronunciation of ayin, non-quiescent aleph, and the occasional
rational for labial vavs. But, I would be delighted just to learn more
about ayin. Can any native Hebrew speaker help me to know how to
pronounced ayin correctly, and how to teach students to do so? I teach
Hebrew for reading, so my Anglo-mangled pronunciations are sufficient, but
I would really like to satisfactorily know how to pronounce an ayin.
Thanks! Matt Miller
