Answering off list, I think this is what we were asked to do

Yes, I believe in the Torah, in a sense which I won't try to define. But
I don't remember anything there about not pronouncing the name. Yes,
there is a commandment about not taking it in vain, but I don't believe
that this means not pronouncing it, at least in a suitable context -
though I might include not using it as a swearword as part of the
meaning of the commandment.

But this was documented in the Torah, it is not "my" religious
beliefs, and Christians, I am told by Christians, also believe in the

Shoshanna, you are entitled to your views on this matter, which are
religious beliefs. You have stated these beliefs clearly before, and
there is no need for you to repeat them. I have carefully avoided
posting my own Christian beliefs about this. For this list is not the
place for propagation of any particular religious position.
