Sorry - that is "Shabbat Shabbaton"

Also, Yom Kippur is "Shabbat Shabbatot" - THE Sabbath of Sabbaths - and does not need to fall on the seventh day of the week.
And it's character and purpose is to atone for all our sins - prohibition of work is reiterating that no work (worship) is to be done, no need to supplicate as in Temple service, just like on the weekly Shabbat.
