Then why the reference to David?

4 For the Israelites shall remain many days without king or prince, without
sacrifice or pillar, without ephod or teraphim. 5 Afterward the Israelites
shall return and seek the LORD their God, and *David their king*; they shall
come in awe to the LORD and to his goodness in the latter days.

³The University is a Paradise, Rivers of Knowledge are there, Arts and
Sciences flow from thence. Counsell Tables are Horti conclusi, (as it is
said in the Canticles) Gardens that are walled in, and they are Fontes
signati, Wells that are sealed up; bottomless depths of unsearchable
Counsels there.²
