Hypothesis: Jacob was a contemporary of Lab'aya and Hamor.
Common topic: Shechem in the 14th and 13th centuries.
PK: Only a few of your list have been demonstrated to be linked to
this period, there is good reason to date many of them much earlier.
<snip>
- Hamor the Hurrian ruled Shechem.
PK: Where do you get "Hurrian" from? He is named a "Hivite" in Genesis
34:2. Are you taking that as meaning "Hurrian"? Is this the missing
link in your evidence which you have not presented?
<snip>
- Joshua reportedly too possession of Shechem without conflict.
PK: No! You must write: "Joshua took possession of Shechem but there
is no report of any conflict." Non-existence of a report of something
is not the same as a report of its non-existence.
