Gotta do some commit bomb some time to push all the stuff I actually needed to setup some systems from scratch.
(There is this dream about SMGL just working -- stuff building correctly, I mean -- out of the box... a dream, sadly.)

Alrighy then,

File bugs to help track these, if you want. :) I fix what I find as I
find it, as many others do.

Thomas.

PS: And I got this other dream to be able to use my SMGL system over extended periods of time without X11 inputs freezing on me.
eekee and myself are investigating this one... my part currently being to run my laptop with only one core active to rule out an SMP issue.

Vlad noticed my latest update to xf86-input-evdev caused his X to crash
(not just freeze) and reverted, but it worked for me (at least
overnight). Perhaps the evdev driver, in general, is buggy? I used to
have those freezes all the time, but over the last six months it's
disappeared (I still use evdev on this machine,
http://www.sourcemage.org/Hardware/Dell/Latitude/D630, where I kept
getting X freezes). It may also be due to Composite. I notice if I have
Composite enabled (in XFCE4) my Firefox crashes easily. Granted, without
Composite, my firefox still seems to crash, but not quite as often (I
can get it reproduced by uploading an attachment to our wiki, but it
doesn't always occur), so this machine may have other issues. ;)

I'm using the latest version of xf86-input-evdev, and it works great. No crashing or anything. So I'd say this could be committed. I was about to commit it, but noticed the revert. Is the latest version of the evdev the upstream stable? If so, we should have it committed.

The only issues with X I've run into are my fiddling with trying to turn on OMFG graphics with intel, and suspend/resume.
