Tony,
My rant had nothing to do with perforce. I have been happy with
perforce and I am one of the people that feel we should stick with
it. It seems to work exactly how we want it to work for our distro at
least on the grimoire side that I work. My frustrations were not being
able to work for what I believe was 2 of the last 3 weekends due to the
connection not being available. If we can handle the bandwidth on the
server that sourcemage now has, I would be very happy to see it hosted
there.
I have been running this distro since 2002 and have been working
on it for a few years now also. I truly do appreciate what you have
done for us in hosting the perforce server. I know it probably came
across as a rant against perforce but it wasn't met to be that. It was
more about the way we as a distro have setup access to perforce.
