Anyone who is concerned about online privacy should consider downloading and using the Tor browser. It allows you to run around the internet with great anonymity. Some of course use it for nefarious reasons (i.e. the "Dark Internet"), but others simply prefer to remain private and still others do so to save their lives (i.e.dissidents in authoritarian countries.) If you log in to something like a yahoo account while on the tor browser, it may come up with the yahoo page for another country, such as Finland, because the yahoo system thinks you are accessing the internet from Finland. Or Romania, or the UK, or Mexico, etc. It's completely legal in the US anyway, folks in other countries should consult their own experts.

The downside is because it is bouncing your signal around the world, it is not as fast as browsers like Chrome and anything that requires flash won't work. If its really slow, what I would do if I was using Tor is I would simply close it, and then restart it, and hope I get a faster pathway.
