I know, I know. I have just started sorting through all the archives I was
pointed to for him. There are so many nested links that I decided to just
post top links. I did sample many of them and found them to still be
active. I am now downloading his entire website with HTTracker; so far at
the 22 megabyte mark and still going;
lots of images accompanying his writings. I am wondering how to upload this
somewhere and make it available to those interested. This is important
stuff for hands on people practicing permaculture, homesteading (urban,
rural, wilderness) and generally back-to-the-land and sustainability (a
word used lots these days: environmental ethics + human ethics).

How would it be for me to create a single file, a RAR or ZIP archive and
upload it to one of my Google Sites; how about here:
https://sites.google.com/site/biointensivefarming/ Biointensive Farming.
Suggestions? This archive will include a top index.html file used to access
everything in the mirrored site, 404land links you will have to deal with
or edit out yourself. This material is good enough to warrant time spent by
me preserving it.

I heard something about his having a problem with hepatitis C and it
getting worse, years ago, but I do not know any more than that. He will
live on and his works will be appreciated by many; that's what he wanted.
He is a logical extension, a satellite knowledgebase, to Alan Chadwick,
with a serious permaculture flavor. The things he was interested in were
the same ones that got me into the world of natural agriculture and
permaculture and eventually onto my own land to farm and develop
permaculture systems. His stuff is pure permaculture. In his own way his
creations are genius.

Let me know what you think about putting archives of his knowledgebase
online, where, what format, etc. It is conceivable that I could duplicate
it on ibiblio in EcoLandTech (a made up Lion-type term). I wil have to look
at the html code to see if it would work online without my spending days
recoding to make all the links work.
