Thanks for the constant update. I personally advocate the context-specific
approach, and like Toby, I work to choose the appropriate tool for each
scenario. My experience with CFLs is that I have never had one burn out in
6+ years of using them. I appreciate all this info and improved usage
guidelines.

thanks Paul for you thoughtful experiment and continual devotion to
improving the practice of Permaculture and earth regenerating practices.
