Hi,
Just added some info from EthnobotDB to Abies balsamea
http://dev.permaculture.info/cgi-bin/eden.py?plant=7

For this I've created a new user EthnobotDB
http://dev.permaculture.info/cgi-bin/eden.py?user=EthnobotDB
so there is some sembalance of correct citation. (Should have done this
with the tanplant data as well).

See
http://flora.nottingham.ac.uk/perl/ace/search/EthnobotDB
and specifically
http://flora.nottingham.ac.uk/perl/ace/enh_tree/EthnobotDB?name=Abies%20balsamea&class=Taxon&expand=Use#Use

The uses there are:

Anodyne Abies balsamea Us(Amerindian)
Burn Abies balsamea Us(Amerindian)
Catarrh Abies balsamea Elsewhere
Cold Abies balsamea Us(Amerindian)
Cough Abies balsamea Us(Amerindian)
Heart Abies balsamea Us(Amerindian)
Masticatory Abies balsamea Canada
Sore Abies balsamea Us(Amerindian)
Steam-Bath Abies balsamea Us(Amerindian)
Urogenital Abies balsamea Elswhere
Wound Abies balsamea Us(Amerindian)
Cancer Abies balsamea Canada(Caughnawaga)
Cancer Abies balsamea Belgium
Wart Abies balsamea Us

note how these are ethnobotanical uses and hence have a particular region or tribe associated with them. Don't know how to represent this well.

p.s. How about using a different colour for the pencil (red)
so its easier to distinguish the two icons.
