The native climbing aster is a great choice (fall forage!), as is the native flame honeysuckle (not the Japanese invasive kind!). There is also a native wisteria, not widely available, but non-invasive. Niche Gardens will reliably have these and perhaps Southern States in Carrboro. Morning glories will seed all over and trumpet vine can take over, depending on the conditions. Happy planting. -Elisabeth
