I doubt this is the case. Bali ('Evans') from St. Lawrence Nursery are on
their own roots because they are tissue-cultured plants. -- Sam Brungardt,

As far as I can tell. Evans are own-rooted from Canada. Bali are
Evans rooted on Mazzard roorstock and not as hardy.
