My Bali trees have a few flowers but no cherries. No suckering and
poor growth. I am disappointed because I read how wonderful and
hardy Bail is. Bali originated in Canada but I read the American
version is not on own roots. I don't think Mazzard is hardy enough.
There are probably different versions of Bali on different roots.
There is a small nursery about 40 miles from me. The owner imports
some stock from Winnipeg in the spring. She said it is a hassle to
get import certificates but Canadian nursery is better for this area.
I'll track her down and ask her to import Bali this spring.
