Tanis,
I would like to see the statistics you describe on NAFEX membership and
listserv participation. If anyone could come up with these numbers, I
think it would make an interesting report to publish in Pomona as well
as share in this on-line forum. Any volunteers?

You are indeed one of the fortunate! I have more
acquaintance with those who have much less land &/or
time &/or energy.

Everyone should have access to whatever info they need
for growing whatever food they can. In turn, they
might improve the methods for doing this. We can't
explore and develop new foods without basic info on
horticulture. The more people involved & the more
methods, the better. I hope they can contribute their
knowledge to this list AND the Pomona magazine.

For people who are shy about writing for the Pomona,
for whatever reason, PLEASE SHARE YOUR INFO.
Experienced growers have lots of knowledge to share.
New growers often see new questions & solutions.

(Yes I'm a member, and I offer articles for the
magazine.)

Admin: Do we have current statistics for how many
members get Pomona only, how many are subscribed to
the listserv, how many ever post to the listserv? And
how many subcribers to listserv who aren't members,
and how many of them who post regularly?
