Knowing how the chances of THAT were, I didn't bother to keep it. If I could
acquire pits from some Reliance peaches grown not far away, I would
certainly try them. It makes sense that a plant's offspring will be adapting
to their climate better than offspring of the same cross grown in a more
temperate zone. There is a more elevated site in my county with peaches that
fruit occasionally depending mostly on spring conditions. Let me look
into it. Peaches and Tea Roses are what I miss most living so far north.
