Hello Mary Jo,

Congratulations and best of luck with your training and the accomplishment of your various missions.  Bob Eikenberry and I are holding our kick-off meeting this Thursday, 10 DEC in Dawsonville, GA (see attached flyer).

We have been promoting it locally and getting some keen interest.  Let's see what kind of turnout we get.  The local EMS chief is a big proponent, and the local CERT director is backing us.

I can't say enough about how encouraging the folks on the MSAR-riders list have been.  Many have contacted us, and - like yourself - have been very supportive.  Two stand out:  T'mi Finkle and Irvin Lichenstein.  Thank you T'mi, Irvin and all the MSAR folks.  Ride safe, take care of those beautiful animals we all love, and may all of you have a happy and blessed holiday season.

If any of you can get to Dawsonville on Thursday night, we are having coffee and cookies!

Gratefully,
Steve

Hi - In October I found this web address and asked for assistance in setting up a MSAR Team.  Many of you sent ideas, CD and PowerPoint presentations to encourage us and give guidance. Al Hale from Jackson, CO, MO drove a distance to meet with us, share his guidelines and many ideas. I want you to know that we now have an official MSAR Team located in Central, MO. Our excellent rural fire district is our "parent" so to speak. They have the extensive equipment and insurance to allow us to move forward, and their support is fantastic.  Our title is, Morgan County MSAR and our orange vests are printed with our logo.
Training has begun and we will continue monthly training sessions for our 18 members.

Thank you for your encouragement. This list is a great asset to communication and connection.
Sincerely, Mary Jo Jackson
